I've seen my share of arrogant TCKs who are very judgmental based on what they think they know.Jamie Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04168408977811339924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3241703702485132991.post-540671250315651222012-10-10T06:21:39.462-06:002012-10-10T06:21:39.462-06:00Actually, I have thought about this quite a few ti...Actually, I have thought about this quite a few times in respect to the fact that I am teaching my children to "see" right and wrong---distinguishing bad behavior and bad attitudes. AND, at the same time teaching them to "not judge" or "be graceful" or "everyone has different convictions". For example, how do I teach my daughter concepts of modesty AND at the same time not teach her a judgmental attitude toward her friends that are dressing "immodestly"?! This is hard!! I am asking her to make judgments and not to judge all at the same time. Contradictions abounds, I agree!! (or extreme paradox/complexity, at the least) Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13680594461260449242noreply@blogger.com
