Meet Jamie Jo

Jamie Jo is a self-proclaimed story-teller, recently cured of exaggerating, even though she grew up in Texas where the motto is “Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story.” God has blessed her with more than 50 years of crazy but totally true story material that needs no elaboration. Her 26 years on the mission field raising and home schooling seven children provide most of her “blog fodder.”

Jamie’s friends IRL often wonder why it is that crazy things just seem to happen to her and her family, from the time she got her finger stuck in a date’s steering wheel in high school, to the more embarrassing episode at Target buying the now infamous “unmentionables.” Jamie Jo thinks God orchestrates these funnies for people’s amusement.

 She is quick to point out that she is not always funny, and her life certainly is not either. Hopefully this blog will introduce you to both the silly and the thoughtful Jamie Jo.
